FLASHING SYSTEMS
The backbone of VELUX skylights are the flashing kits that ensure a weatherproof installation. All VELUX flashing kits come with pre-measured VELUX underlayment. The VELUX No-Leak Warranty requires the purchase and correct installation of the recommended flashing.
EDL Flashing kits are required for all deck-mounted units.
ECL Flashing kits are made for curb-mounted skylights.

BLINDS AND SHADES
VELUX produces a variety of shades and blinds including manual and solar powered units. A wide variety of Light-block shades, venetian blinds and roller shades are available for both deck and curb mounted skylights. Some operate with a remote control and some are totally solar powered. All blinds and shades can be factory installed at no charge. |

CONTROLS
Manual and electric controls for operating skylights, roof windows, and blinds. The new A21 remote control operates off RC (Radio Control) frequency so they work from virtually anywhere in the house.

GLAZING OPTIONS
Energy-efficient glass options for skylights and roof windows. In the Midwest we suggest the Laminated/Tempered glazing which really filters the UV light wave to protect furniture and fabrics.

INSECT SCREENS
Insect screens allow the best of the outdoors in, while keeping insects out. All venting skylights come with insect screens however with Roof Windows, screens are an option. Screen shown is mounted below a VELUX Roof Window.
